How To Teach Yoga & Meditation For Children oga On-The-Go For Kids
Hi, welcome to Expert Village. I am Sharon Tessandori owner of Barefoot Works Yoga Studio located in Lexington, Kentucky. For this segment we will explore what I call on the go movement meditation. In which you're standing and you could use this at work or at home, anytime you might need to find yourself just taking some deep breaths or just gently stretch your body out. So we'll start with the feel hip distance wide and standing nice and tall. Your arms just rest to the sides or your legs and with your inhale stretch your arms out to the sides and up over head. If it suits you take your palms together and turn your gaze up and then exhale, circle your arms to the sides and move your hands in front of your heart and then inhale, stretch the arms back down lifting them high. Exhale, reach your arms out to the sides, bring your chin parallel to the floor, hands back in front of your heart, inhale. Reaching the arms down, stretching the arms up, exhale, bringing the chin forward circling the arms to sides and moving the hands back in front your heart. You can continue that from anywhere from 2 to 5 minutes just flowing and moving with your breath and the movement combining with you. Once you're finished just release your arms to the sides and you're ready to go forward with the rest of your day.
