Yog hanting & Movement Meditation oga Meditation Breathing Exercise

We're going to stand up very comfortably. We're going to try to keep the feet about hip distance apart, and the knees soft. On the inhale; right through the nostrils. Try to keep the lips together; inhale. Just reach the arms high into the sky; hold it. Now, open your mouth; like if you were going to clean your sunglasses or a wine glass, and let go. Let's try again; one more time. Inhale through the nostrils, and then close; open your mouth. Now let's try the same thing, but keep the lips together as you exhale. Ready? Inhale first, reach up; look up, and keep the lips together; same sound and you might hear that strong sound of exhalation. See if you can match that with the inhalation. So let's try again to integrate the movement and the breath. First the breath, then the movement. Ready? Inhale, up, hold it, exhale, let go. One more time; inhale, reach up, exhale, let go. See if you can continue on your own for the next one minute or two minutes. Just inhale deep through the nostrils, reach up; receive, exhale, let go. Then, while you do it become really, really aware of the relationship between the breath and the movement, as the breath initiates the movement; not the other way around.
