OSH ancing With Existence (Welcome to the OSHO International Meditation Resort)

The approach here is to create an environment where people can be whole where people can enjoy being centered with their feet firmly on the ground yet can also touch the stars The key to relaxation is awareness, being a keen observer of all that is going on both inside and around us – this is the inner science, also called meditation Dancing with Existence OSHO International Meditation Resort I got totally touched by the beauty and by the nature and also by this thing that’s hard to explain— just this energy or I don’t know what it is. Everybody is walking around with smiles on their faces and hugging each other. It just seemed very stress free and serene. I come from a small town, so suddenly to come from a small place into an international place, it was a big jump for me. The first impression physically is how beautiful this place is. It’s a little oasis in the middle of Pune. This is the only Meditation Resort in the world. Situated in Pune, in the hills beyond Mumbai.... The beauty and serenity of this campus make it one of the most popular must-see attractions for any visitor to India today. This pyramid is designed to provide an ambience for meditation to happen. There is a full day program of meditations available here all day, every day from morning till night. Before reading Osho I didn’t know much about meditation. I had tried it before, sitting still, and became very frustrated in a short amount of time. So that’s why Osho appealed to me immediately with the Dynamic Meditation. I love it, I really love it a lot. It changes the whole way that the day unfolds for me. If I go to Dynamic Meditation first thing, the rest of the day has a vibrancy, an aliveness. I do Dynamic and Kundalini almost every day. With Dynamic, I wake up in the morning beginning with the chaotic breathing, which is the just the best way you could wake up in the morning— and then to go into catharsis. It’s such a release! Now, with Kundalin t’s a beautiful way to end the day. This is something I do every day at home. Because you’re so stressed… and I am busy, I’m working, phones are ringing; it’s chaos. Just to be able to shake it all off, to let it all go and then dance… nobody is watching you know! And then to feel that silence. Because the way the West is, we can’t dedicate ourselves to finding this peace. The active meditations allow you to come it very quickly. Then the music stops on the fourth part. You just lie down… this silence is all around you. I find a lot of times I almost go into a trance. It’s so relaxed that when the three bells start ringing I am disappointed, because I feel as though I could just stay there for a long time ’cos I’ve reached this state that is just so serene and pleasant. There is a daily program of classes in the lush surroundings of Buddha Grove, for refreshment, relaxation and fun. After Dynamic Meditation, there are processes in Buddha Grove. My favorite is the Dance celebration at 10.45. You can dance in the morning sun in a beautiful space and really bring meditation with you. I experienced it here and I really realized what a blessing this place is, to be able to do that just so free. Everybody dances at night but to dance in the daylight with your bare feet, it’s wonderful. What I learned here is that it’s not just one type of meditation, there are all kinds of meditation. Dancing can be a meditation. Something that you put your soul into, or your heart into, and you are meditating. Multiversity is basically the central hub, they organize one-day workshops, three-day workshops, one-week workshops and a multitude of Intensives anywhere from one week to two or three months. The whole idea behind the Multiversity is to assist people in a therapeutic environment so meditation can become more available. And as you work through this therapeutic environment, meditations are supporting that. Actually, meditations are more important than the therapies. The therapies do the work but the real ground is this meditative environment and participating in the meditations. I’ve done many different workshops and Intensives and I have also helped in a lot of them. It’s really opened a new door for me. One of the great things is I took a Self-Hypnosis course it was fascinating wonderful to use that tool for different parts of my life it’s been very helpful. I took another course in Acu-Energetics which has been fascinating. I am learning things that I’ve heard about or heard vague references to and suddenly I’ve become a part of this. I’ve learned things and taken it all back with me. And I use it as much as I can because it certainly improves my day-to-day life. I’ve always had an artistic side so I wanted to sit down and paint. That was it, I had no expectations, no idea what would happen. We started off with Primal we got a big sheet of paper and started to paint. I started to see these beautiful images that I am creating and suddenly Meera, the facilitator, she came and said, “Right, go over it, go straight over whatever you’ve painted.” I was like…“But it’s beautiful, why do I want to do that?!” So I did… and I didn’t like it. In the beginning I felt almost an ange 50“I am creating a masterpiece, why can’t I keep that?” Slowly, I am painting and beginning to see where she is taking us 1 that we build up attachments to what we like very quickly. 1 And she made us give our painting to somebody else and I had to take1 somebody else's panting and paint over somebody else’s painting.1 And I’m watching somebody else painting over mine!1 It taught me so much, it was such a freedom1 a complete release, like I’ve never felt before. 1 That was three years ago.1 It’s still there, it’s never gone away.1 I am a little more aware of my emotions, my reactions 1 because I can watch it more, 1 I don’t jump too fast into reacting.1 Why this happened?1 While I was going through the process, 1 sometimes I had to interact with all the people who were not doing it.1 Then I could see things from a different space,1 as if I was out of the situation. I was really out. 1 This is transferred into the way I see now my life. 1 Sometimes I can just watch from the outside, what happens. 1 Also, I became more aware of patterns of behavior I carried from my past. 1 I feel as if I have been washed,1 as if inside the whole being has been washed.1 It was an amazing experience for me.1 I’m looking forward to do it again, Mystic Rose.1 The delightful Osho Teerth park was once a neglected waste area. 1 This restoration project undertaken by the Meditation Resort 1 is one of the ecological marvels of Asia.1 Modern Zen accommodation is available in the Guesthouse1 and for longer stays there are three 'Living In' programs to choose from.1 The Multimedia Gallery has hundreds of books1 transcribed from talks given by Osho 1 to International audiences around the world. 1 There are hundreds of titles translated into over sixty languages. 1 The vegetarian food served here is made from organic produce, 1 prepared by five star chefs served in two locations, 1 the Zorba poolside dining area and the Meera garden courtyard... 1 The Meditation Resort operates its own organic farm.1 I teach Bollywood dance as my hobby1 and my sharing to the people over here.1 Bollywood dance practices are amazing.1 We create a dance in a fun way,1 and in their simpler forms they are quite easy1 and very funny to do and learn. 1 When I see somebody from Germany or Russia or Serbia 1 so many people dancing together in the same movement 1 it creates an atmosphere which is very beautiful. 1 This is so incredibly unique, to have a group with thirty people, 1 and there’ll be like twelve, thirteen different countries—1 it brings an international flavor. 1 In Germany we got brought up with a certain conditioning1 and here it just keeps on breaking, it keeps on loosening up 1 because people don’t recognize my issues1 and I don’t always recognize theirs. 1 So sometimes you clash and the next moment it’s like, “Wow, what happened?!”1 It’s constantly reminding me of my own conditioning patterns.1 Countries disappear here.1 Everybody is from somewhere else and has their own story,1 but we all share something in common… meditation.1 I don’t feel that I belong only to my country.1 I am born in Greece, but I don’t feel that I am Greek. 1 I am not carrying it.1 So here people learn how to let go of the conditioning of their country,1 how to let go of these boundaries—1 because in essential things there are no countries and no borders. 1 We are all experiencing love, happiness, sadness.1 The Meditation Resort is an experience of the unique proposal1 for combining relaxation with awareness,1 creativity with playfulness, and action with silence.1 We give night events every day.1 The events team discuss how to do an even what kind of decorations.1 And we are relating it to the meditations.1 It continues the celebration we are doing anyways through the day. 1 Sometimes we have concerts, variety shows 1 we encourage people to come on stage and be creative. 1 For audience there is no comparison,1 we have the best audience in the world…1 because more than a hundred countries are present.1 The most important thing happening—1 it’s still a continuing process, I don’t think it will ever be finished— 1 is that I am starting to love myself.1 I am forty-three years old and for the first time 1 I am really starting to feel that I love myself.1 That’s only possible because of the time I have spent here in the meditation resort. 1 It’s an experience. A very positive, life-affirming experience.1 It feels like I am “me” for the first time in my whole life.1 Every time I come back, an extra piece of that puzzle just slots in. 1 And I don’t know what piece it’s going to be until I get back home,1 and then I’ll see, “Ah, this is what I’ve learned!”1 This is why I know I’ll come back agai :12'cos I need another piece of the puzzle to slot in.1 Every moment of the day is special for me here.1 It’s a place to celebrate, it’s a place to meditate,1 it’s a place to find yourself, 1 it’s a place to step closer to life,1 It’s a place to open your hear it’s a place that’s worth to see and visit.2 I am not going to give you a destination.2 I can only give you a direction2 awake, throbbing with life,2 unknown, always surprising, unpredictable.2 I’m not going to give you a map.2 I can give you only a great passion to discover. 2 OSHO
