Sometimes I wonder where my life is going… I worry, I fret, I become sad, I regret. But then I'm reminded again and again that life is full of wonders, in every corner of every room there are wonders waiting to be discovered, there are miracles waiting to happen. I look around and see my little nephew playing and I am overwhelmed by the miracle of life. Life has truly unfolded through him. He is in a very real sense the leading edge of evolution. Its not just him, its all of us, its every one of us humans living on this planet today. We are all the jewels in evolutions crown, in Gods creation if you like that idea more. And whether we can accept it or not, this brings a tremendous load of responsibility on our shoulders. We have to grow up. We have to behave. We have to act better. Understand that it took 14 billion years to make you and me. To transform us from elementary particles into atoms, molecules, gases, milky ways, stars, galaxies, planets, tiny tiny little bacteria in the bottom of the ocean, to little plants that flower, to animals that run, to humans who think, to this place where today we are able to connect with each other across the planet beyond space and time with recorded sounds and videos and mobile phones and what and what not are going to be coming that I cannot even speak of at this point… It took the universe 14 BILLION years to make this happen and we are the leading edge of it. My little nephew, you, me, all of us… So even if sometimes we are crazy, even if we have done despicable things at some time in our life, even if we have sinned a thousand times. It is time for us to wake up NOW! It is time. If you are hearing this, it is time! It is time to wake up and take responsibility. It is time to discover the hero's journey. It is time to realise our own divinity.
